About Us

Transform Rhode Island, Inc. is a newly organized 501c4 non-profit corporation which is calling on every citizen, regardless of their political affiliation, to get involved in an effort to transform our state.

Recently, Governor Carcieri stated that Rhode Island is at a “tipping point” and we must find the courage to make the difficult choices that will ensure a brighter tomorrow for our children. Nothing short of a major transformation will offer new hope for that promising future.

While the Governor has and continues to propose exciting and creative new ways to change the way our state operates, there are those who resist the very notion of doing things differently. Special interest groups consistently promote keeping the status quo.

Now, there is a new voice in Rhode Island – a voice speaking loudly for change – and that’s Transform Rhode Island.  Our group, through members and supporters, will use both traditional and new media to spread the word and gain support for real reform.  We believe that Rhode Islanders have had enough of the status quo and are ready to join forces to demand that our elected officials do the right things to ensure the safety, welfare and prosperity of all our citizens.

Transform Rhode Island welcomes new members who want to be active by making their voices heard and those who would like to send in a donation to help support our advertising and communications efforts. We have already launched a website, have begun airing both radio and television spots and have secured outdoor advertising locations.

Our members believe in Rhode Island and support Governor Carcieri’s efforts to balance the budget and reduce state spending, improve education, curb illegal immigration, reform welfare and develop renewable energy sources here in our state.

Our on-going advertising and communication efforts will deliver targeted messaging to our elected officials at the federal, state and local level, and will reflect what we believe is the will of the majority of Rhode Islanders. It’s time the voice for change is heard!
